STUCCO VENEZIANO

Due to the subtle richness and refinement of the final product, STUCCO VENEZIANOwas the most widely used finish in the historic Italian palazzos of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.

The most traditional, luxurious and classically “Italian” of the Pietra Viva finishes, STUCCO VENEZIANO is made from pure Grassello di Calce, a unique limestone found in the river Piave outside of Venice, and finely-ground Carrara marble. Its application requires a high level of craftsmanship and knowledge in ancient surfacing application techniques to intentionally create the visible effect of seemless patterns. Made of the finest Carrara marble grain, STUCCO VENEZIANO is more delicate than other finishes and therefore used only for interiors.
